I think the Lakers signing of gasol puts them at the top.

The Suns will be there, but Shaq will not help as much as some may think.

Kidd is not going to deliver a title in Dallas.

The Spurs know what it takes when playoff time comes around.

I think the Lakers signing of Gasol put them at the top in the West. Phoenix will still be there, but Shaq isn't going to help as much as some may think.The mavs didn't get that much better with Kidd. The Spurs will still have to be reckoned with as they know what it takes when playoff time comes.
